In 1979 Paul Ruitenberg started a business that moved from decorating store windows to crafting interior displays for thousands of supermarkets, including Giant Foods and A&P. Today, Ruitenberg designs supermarket interiors for 500 customers in the New York metro area and in Seattle, Hawaii, Florida and the Caribbean.

As an internationally trained visual communicator, Gustavo is passionate about designing unique, awe-inspiring spaces that reflect the vision, values and purpose of the valued clients we represent. He masterfully combines high-quality branding with personalized decor elements to provide a truly one-of-a-kind look and feel for each engagement. Gustavo has been in the retail design industry for over 20 years. During that time, he has created over 1,000 timeless spaces.
César came to America from the Dominican Republic to follow his own version of the American Dream. Beginning as a graphic designer, César saw an opportunity to support his early clients with both interior and exterior store décor and more. He proceeded to establish his own venture in 2013, which continued to grow rapidly and expand from a regional to national provider.
Retail Group Vice President
Kevin, is responsible for retail services, digital signage, and new business development. Prior to joining Retail Fluent, Kevin was national director of marketing & advertising for C&S Wholesale Grocers, responsible for supporting retail services to over 3500 independent grocers. In addition, he spent over two decades with A&P Supermarkets in increasing roles of responsibility, including corporate director of marketing and advertising.
Head Project Manager
Kaitlyn grew up around the décor design industry, beginning at 10, when her father would take her to many retail makeover installations throughout NY, NJ and CT. After receiving an undergraduate degree in fine art, Kaitlyn spent her early years managing art galleries, including the expansion of the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 2018, Kaitlyn re-joined her father in creating beautiful spaces for our valued clients. Her love of design, dedication to customers, and ability to bring teams together is a key component to Retail Fluent’s ongoing growth and success.
